Current vacancies

We are seeking an experienced actuarial professional to join our Brisbane consulting office to complement the skills set and experience of the existing team. Our office is located in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD, The ideal candidates will have between five and fifteen years’ experience in the actuarial or predictive modelling fields. The team undertakes work for a range of clients across a variety of industries, with the majority of projects undertaken in the general insurance pricing context. 

Key responsibilities

• Manage client projects on a day to day basis
• Develop the capabilities of junior analysts
• Support the office leader in business development activities
• Participate in routine internal business functions

Skills and experience

• Five to fifteen years in an actuarial or predictive modelling role. Personal lines pricing expertise will be considered advantageous
• Demonstrably strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience across the spectrum of predictive modelling projects (data extraction, transformation and loading, data review, consideration of suitable model types and structures [GLM, non-parametric], model validation
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Excel, Microsoft Excel VBA and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Project management experience
• Team leadership/line management/workflow management experience
